It will be to your advantage to be present as a Mr. Boddy will bring to an end a certain longstanding question: Who did it, where and with what? Strap in for a wild night of hijinks, deception and doorknobs at Henry Lawson Theatre’s production of Clue! Can you guess who’s next? Or will you be the next body we find?
Name and Role in the show? Alexander Smith, I am playing Wadsworth.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’ve been acting for 8 years, performing in both theatre and screen productions. I’ve always wanted to inspire people with my acting, for someone to watch me and think; “I wanna do that”.
What can audiences look forward to when they come to see the show?
Brass doorknobs!! As well as mystery, deception, lies and an incredible amount of tomfoolery How has the rehearsal process been?
We’ve had to stay very flexible with the rehearsal blocking due to the intricacies of the set, so many moving parts can be tricky to work around. But we’ve all had heaps of fun as we discover new ways of moving and staging to ensure the audience gets the best show possible.
What do you like about the show? Why did you choose to be involved? I love Tim Curry, it’s an absolute honour to be playing a character of his, and such an iconic one at that. He is one of my favourite actors and when the auditions were announced, I knew I had to be in it!!
Other than yourself, which cast member do you think audiences should keep an eye out for? Who is really bringing it?
Mr Green, played by Lesh Satchithananda will most certainly be a fan favourite, he brings an amazing energy to the production!!
What do you want the audience to think about? What is the message of the show?
Always be wary of a strange letter from a mysterious millionaire inviting you to a lavish dinner party
